The Camarillo Community Band’s 2026 Summer Concert series shall take place on July 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 7:00 PM at Constitution Park at the intersection of Carmen Drive and Paseo Camarillo.
2025 marked the band’s fortieth season. The Ventura County Star had a front page story on July 17, the July 17 online edition of the Ventura County Star included a video, and the June 28 edition of the Camarillo Acorn included an article.
Presented by the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks District, the conductors in 2025 were:
Kirk Raymond, founder of the Camarillo Community Band (July 31). Dr. Danielle Cortés, Superintendent of the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, conducted from the bandsand and received the band’s gratitude for supplying its rehearsal space over the years.
Bob Hackett, Music Director at Agoura High School (July 10). Mayor Kevin Kildee congratulated the band on its 40th season.
Stephen Morman, Doctoral Student, University of Southern California (July 17).
John McQuilkin, retired instrumental music teacher from Quartz Hill High School (July 24). Mary Otten, the General Manager of the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, conducted a march and praised the band.
