Audiences enjoy music on a summer evening.

The Camarillo Community Band is an all-volunteer organization of adult musicians.  They have an opportunity to continue their love of making music in an enjoyable environment and to enhance the arts in Camarillo and surrounding communities.  Founded by Kirk Raymond in 1986, the band seats an average of 120 musicians each year.

During the month of July, the Camarillo Community Band draws from 250-400 audience members for each of its “Summer Concerts in the Park.”  A Christmas concert in December usually attracts more than 350 people.  The band  participates in the Annual Memorial Day Service at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park that draws thousands.  Most  audience members come from Camarillo but attendees come from all of Ventura County and even from Los Angeles County and beyond.

The 2020 summer concerts were cancelled, but the band is ready to resume performing as soon as a concert is possible.
