Bob Hackett tunes up the band before the June 30, 2022 concert at the Camarillo Ranch House.

The Camarillo Community Band is made up of volunteer instrumentalists who perform music for the enjoyment of Camarillo and surrounding communities.   Guest conductors lead every concert.  Adult musicians are welcome to join the band.

Founded by Kirk Raymond in 1986, the band seats an average of 120 musicians each year.  Audiences in the hundreds usually attend the band’s performances.   The band  participates in the Annual Memorial Day Service at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park that draws thousands.  Most  audience members come from Camarillo but attendees come from all of Ventura County and even from Los Angeles County and beyond.

Our Mission: The Camarillo Community Band is an all-volunteer organization of adult musicians. The purpose of the corporation is to provide an opportunity for local musicians to continue their love of performing music in an enjoyable environment, and to offer an entertaining community concert experience for local residents.
